Self-archiving Policies

IJRHNS is committed to preserving its published research and ensuring that scholarly content remains accessible over the long term.

Digital preservation is an important part of responsible academic publishing because published research should remain available to readers even when circumstances affecting a journal's website or publishing platform change.

The journal currently uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to support the digital preservation of its published articles.

Purpose of Self-Archiving

The journal's archiving approach helps support:

  • Availability for the long term: Articles that have been published can be accessed by the reader in the future.
  • Preservation of the content: The academic content is secured from any possible loss.
  • Access continuity: Academics, students, and health care professionals would be able to keep accessing the published content.
  • Continuity in scholarly record: Published articles become a part of the scholarly record.
  • Digital security: There is one more level of security of the preserved content.

Digital Preservation

The International Journal of Research in Health Nursing Science (IJRHNS) uses PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) in their digital preservation efforts. PKP PN is intended to help preserve journal content and to ensure access to scholarly publications.

Through the process of preservation, IJRHNS intends to secure the availability of their published research content and the ability to cite and refer to it in the academic and healthcare community.

Digital preservation is considered an important part of the journal’s activities by the journal’s editorial board.
